Never did fully understand the Pokemon phenomenon, but today I decided to find out.....based on the hobby of Insect Collecting enjoyed by one of the Pokemon executives, there are 649 fictional species (that's a lot) apparently!

Either Haunter or Charmander for *favourites*. As for game favourites, has to be Alakazam/Charizard. I also own Black now, not sure if I've got any sort of connection with any of the new pokemon, but since all the pokemon have been the new ones so far, guess I can't be too fussy.
Charizard was always my favourite from the originals as well. I now own Black but can't play it until the 3DS arrives! gotta...catch em...all!
Eevee! Not sure why though. Burger King used to have a Pokemon Stadium game corner when I was little, and I would always pick him/her to battle against my friend.

Ugh, Pidgey was rubbish! If anything, Pidgeotto was the best form. Magikarp was just useless. I don't like Snorlax or Psyduck either!
