I'm a Portuguese team myself. Barely any good teams to choose from. Still, the players are all generated so teams aren't as good, or bad, as they are in real life.

Don't know why anyone other than the over cautious would be worried about the referral id being added when many similar and popular/official sites use the same method.
Especially as it's our trusty Liverpudlian who has posted it ;)

Feeling rough today for some reason, still, not point moaning. I work at a Museum on a Wednesday which usually means a quiet time with a book and some human remains. It's also raining this morning meaning the place will be desolate and creepy. Just how I like it!

For each person that signs up, you get a 'coin'. Collecting these coins, you can exchange for various rewards (which consist of game vouchers and real money). The game vouchers can be spent on premium features, and if you collect enough coins, you can start to accquire real money via PayPal.
It really isn't a big part of the game the referral scheme though, and it's not at all pushed on users to participate in.
