wet most of the weekend and very sunny today, Monday should be the new Saturday.
In a rare dry patch over the weekend I was doing a bit of skateboarding. It's been over 20 years since I had my skateboard so I did well not to break my neck.
Back at work, started raining, got 4 hours sleep. Not the best of starts.
Joking aside, having a free year's ID protection, which should include experian reports, sounds good to me.
:¬)
On a totally unrelated matter ie to the welcome above .... Is all 'okey dokey' now in PS Sony World, now that an 'offer' has been 'offered' :¬)
Have you all accepted Sir Howard's offer of a full year within an identity protection programme, which does include (at no extra cost) a £600,000 ID Theft Insurance Policy.....?! :¬ P
We all know insurance policies are great on paper, just how great are only revealed when you make a legitimate claim....:¬(
All go again. 5th birthday party went well, very tired last night, didn't get dinner till 10pm.
Off out and about today again. Eldest has a party to go to later too. Still, looks good weather for it so far.
I'd heard about the problems with FF4 and since I'm on a very RAM deficient laptop as is (Vista + 1GB of RAM = slow), I figured I'd stick with IE (until the point where I can be bothered to install Chrome or something similar).
Football-wise, the Championship and below are finished for the majority of us, it was nice (and a bit lucky) for my team to jump up into the top half of the table (just) after the last game, makes the season to seem a bit less disastorous, and with the form that we finished, I have cautiously high hopes for next season.
Laziness appears to be taking over, as I could quite easily give myself a lot less to do over the coming weeks by starting some revisional stuff now, or at some point in the near future. But that doesn't appear to be happening, procrastination and doing...well...nothing seems to be a higher priority right now.
Yes I think that could be the problem, would seem to make sense anyway.I'm finding the latest version unresponsive when opening/closing,clearing cookies etc.If I exit it and try and then reopen it hangs and then tells me it's already running when it quite evidently isn't? It's not too bad when it's up and running but think I might be swapping to a different browser soon.My system is not Nasa grade but it's not that bad (Intel Core 2 Extreme 3.2 Ghz,4 GB RAM),would expect that to be able to run a web browser TBH!
I have been a Firefox user since about Version 1.5 but this is new version sadly appears to be it's worst incarnation (on my system anyway).
:(
Is it just my system or is the new version of Firefox crap?
Lots of people report very high CPU usage with FF4 which causes problems - is that what you are seeing?
I've seen so many people mention this that I've put off upgrading from v3.6 for now.
