I'm not a huge F1 fan, but i do enjoy the sport when I watch it.
Yes, F1, on average, is boring for quite a bit of the race (I can't generalise every race because that would just be silly- Valencia this year being a key example, as pb pointed out).
But as I've already said, the likes of football, the most popular sport in the UK, can be just as boring, if not even more boring. Dominance in the sport? Think of Man Utd and Chelsea.
If football can get away with it without any complaints, I can't see what's wrong with following F1...
Now excuse me, the 'paint' is getting exciting at Silverstone.
