Hello all!

Have the horrible feeling that this next week will go by very slowly until MCM. Completed Assasin's Creed II some time ago. Really want to continue the gaming freedom, but need to get back into a routine for third University year. About to go out for my Birthday meal, so I hope everyone has a good day and weekend!

So. A quiet Friday on the forum then.

Just been on Playstation Home to get all the free stuff. They've got a nice Star Wars Cantina Bar space there now.

oops. Didn't get time to come on here and say hello this morning.

Meetings, school runs and trying to get presents for teachers organized has left me with little time to do anything else so far.

Hope everyone else is well. I'm going to really try and get some gaming time in today. Did well earlier in the week and unlocked some more of Paradise City, thanks to the current PSN offer for Big Surf Island (really cheap and well worth getting if you have Burnout Paradise).

But today I want to play the game I ordered for my Birthday, Earth Defence Force Insect Armageddon, which came through the letter box today.

I have recently started using a BB and, while the keys are small, it has only taken me a week of on-off use to adjust to using them quickly and without errors. So far I am happy with this choice over the LG and HTC alternatives available.

Thanks for the advice guys, appreciated. Will check out the LG model, looks pretty good for the money. With the Orange phone credit and Quidco cashback that would be a cheap phone. If the keys are very small on Blackberry's then perhaps it may not be the weapon of choice for Captain Sausage fingers! :)

I really don't like Blackberrys. They're fine if you really need to look at work emails but I'm not a fan. Maybe it's just a personal thing, though, but I find the keys so tiny and unusable.

Mrs DL would have to agree with you there pb. She's had a Blackberry Pearl for 3 months now and cannot stand the sight of it. She hates the keys and in fact, the entire set-up!

As for touch screens pete, I've had a Galaxy S for nearly a year now and texting is just so much easier - qwerty etc etc, besides you can also set up email accounts aswell if that is a necessity.

Morning everyone.

I'm after a bit of advice if anyone can help. I'm going to swap my crappy ancient house brick of a mobile phone when I come back from holiday at the end of next month. I don't play games on them and I don't really like touch screen phones so I was thinking of a lower end Blackberry or something? Saw this on the Orange website but can't find any reviews for it anywhere. I've got £20 odd on my Orange phone fund which would make it a cheap phone (which it probably is!). Not into phones hence my obvious lack of knowledge, so I would be grateful of any help whatsoever. Suppose my budget would be up to £150 (Orange PAYG), so I'm hoping that I should get something reasonable for that. Any recommendations guys?

There are some great low end Android phones out there if you don't want to play games it really helps the budget. As Android is an OS that works across different specs of phone, you'll get cheaper ones that can't cope with more complicated games but work perfectly as a phone and even manage some great applications for lots of different things.

I'd still say modern touchscreen phones are so much better than having keys though. The Optimus ME is great for the price, and probably perfect for what you need, though I'd say try to go for something a little better like the HTC Wildfire S if you can afford it.

Late in, so still on the bus. :(

Not feeling all that great either, probably lack of sleep.
