Morning.
Last day of work before the holidays. I really need this break. We haven't even had time to put up our Christmas decorations. The only flashy lights in our house are on my PC!
Another week to go for me...
Still, there are lots of chocolates and some mince pies floating around here, so not so bad. Looking forward to a few days off though.

Been running the Mulled Wine event at work this morning. Unsurprisingly, the wine has gone down quite fast....

Finish work 23rd December ... don't want to see another home-made scotch egg or mince pie or sausage rolls etc etc! Had them every Thursday since the beginning of November ... as nice as they were ... no more please! It gets a bit hard to drive a Tractor Unit after all that :¬) Go back 9th January ...

Only had 2 mince pies so far this year. Will be doing mulled wine and mince pies on Thursday for charity at work, though.

Am I the only one working a full week next week? I am off on Christmas Eve, but working up to then...
Christmas Eve will be fun though. I'll be "field testing" the mince pies as they come out of the oven. Not to mention home made scotch eggs, sausage rolls, jam tarts, and whatever else the Missus decides we need.
It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it.

How much time off!?
I haven't had a Christmas break that long since I was at school, and that was a bloomin' long time ago!
3 weeks. But, as I said, I never got a summer holiday. I had a week off to do DIY in the summer so I had a lot of days still to take. Besides, I wanted Christmas off and that lasts until 7th Jan...

This is my last day of the week and I only have half a week to tolerate next week. And then down to Devon as usual.

Afternoon.
3 more days of work after today, then Christmas holiday. Much needed after only taking a week off in the summer.
