We'll be watching that clip for the rest of our lives, with that statue just falling 90 degrees while matey throws his shoe at it, and misses. Bah.
However, are they only doing that because they fear the american forces and that if they don't show support they fear getting killed, or are they truly happy?
I think the latter because they have now regained their freedom, now they can shout out anything they like and lets hope Iraq now gets a nice government and are able to rebuild their lives and prosper as a new found and great Middle East Country.
"Sure", says I, "what's it about?"
"When Baghdad was liberated on April 9, 2003 Gran"
"Oh, you mean when the play-doh statue with bog roles for support was pulled down? That was a funny sight love, the man with the shoe made a great sideshow too!"
"Gee Gran, was it really that funny?"
"Well, no love, but the Fimbles were on the other side and the fact that you can see the zippers in their costumes always had me in convulsions, so it was probably residual hilarity love."
"Ok Gran, thanks"
Emm, I think maybe I should get some sleep!
Think of the possiblities. Having a spot of tea down underneath a mountain with a fellow group of Western World-haters (Al Qaeda), planning various terrorist attacks, while Americans scurry about the mountains above you, blowing up large rocks and hillsides that they think will lead into your 'lair'.
They'd better catch him soon.

Complete with mini ex-opressed people and little shoes?
