At the start of the war there were estimates of the Iraqi army numbering over 100,000, with thousands more Special Republican Guards and what have you. Americans now have 7000 POWs, they can't have killed more than 10,000 in conflict, as they've not met enough resistance to account for that amount. So where are the rest? A huge number of military personnel suddenly disappearing?

They've either surrended, changed their loyalties and want to lead a "normal" life, or still alive posing as citizens, waiting for their time to come.
