I seriously doubt theres any truth in that...

Its just one team trying to psyche out another in a similar way that boxers do... Real know that by saying they fear Arsenal more is just a wind up to Man Utd... im sure that whoever said it did so with no honesty and was just playing mind games, Arsenal are nowehere near in the same class as Man Utd when it comes to europe... In fact i would go as far as to say that in recent CL seasons Arsenal have proved to be nothing more than a soft touch to the better teams... just my opinion.

Why not?

I don't like sarcy comments from small minded Arsenal fans who only seem to appear with silly little comments when United are beaten or Arsenal are winning.

OMG!
Is Absolut Neo the only one facing up to reality here?
Manchester United have no chance in hell of getting through
They may win but by a small margin, and real WILL score at old trafford
They didn't win it last year for no reason

Don't need to get bitter.
We didn't go through we didn't deserve to but with some new players in we can do it next year, and then i think we can match Real.

I doubt it - They convincingly beat us at OT last season and if the likes of Beckham and Giggs aren't going to raise their game for big occaisions like this then we don't really stand a chance. Once again - I think it will be a trophyless season.

Yep, they really fear playing Arsenal musn't they?

A team who couldn't win 1 single game in Champions League and just about drew against the likes of Ajax at home - I mean thats so fearful, that they they must have been pisin their pants!

Does it make you sick that, even with that record, they fear us more than you? :-)

Well, Real Madrid are too good - they have bought some great players and I can see them lifting the trophy once more.

Although we were outclassed at times, we did have a few chances and should have really scored at least 1 more goal, Beckham was quit poor tonight infact most were other than Ruud who battled on all night on his own upfront.

We generally play better away than home and I feel it will be far too difficult in 2 weeks time, and even though it's not an 'impossible task' - I can see Real scoring at Old Trafford.

On another point - I don't really know how Arsenal came into conversation in this topic? - They need to win at least 1 game in Europe before they can even think about playing the likes of Real Madrid in the next round.
