However here is my problem:
http://www.geocities.com/mjswerve/workinprogress.html
Ignore Geo*****, just a temp host as its not actually going to be put online unless I get bored. The problem I have is quite obvious. Firstly I have a problem with a small white border going around the top right corner, its not there when I view it offline so Im guessing I have messed up with some file names when I uploaded it. THe second problem is the reason I've uploaded it and it is the large white border going all the way around the site design.
I designed the site in Photoshop (I did not include that damn white border) and then I sliced it in imageready. Unfortunately once it was sliced and then saved as HTML this border has been added. My HTML is very weak (knew I shouldnt of stopped using it) and I dont have a clue why this has happened. I'd appreciate any help as its already overdue by 4 days as is my Excel problem http://ukchatforums.reserve.co.uk/ display_messages.php?threadid=73658&forumid=206 *cough* *cough* *nudge* *nudge* :)

Yup. Very very useful language to know.

Heh, not surprised its a load of crap to be honest. Made the layout as a single image in Photoshop and then sliced it in Adobe Imageready to generate some simple HTML. Then I used Dreamweaver to turn the slices into buttons for navigation and used a layer to add text. Was a serious bodge job but my school wont know the difference.
Thanks for the help by the way Rasta, will eat pudding and see if it works =]

True, but for a piece of code as short as this it's best to just shove it in the HEAD.

css can be in multiple places - it can be included in a seperate file, as a declaration block in the html file itself or applied individually to elements.
