Watched this at the week-end

Thought it was pretty damn good actually, with maybe some bits hurried over too much or not really explained.

Still I liked it, especially that gun with the sonic boom, nice.

And those future motorway car things

I invented the sick-stick.

Not true.

I wish it was though.

But it did have Colin Farrell. Every single film will eventually have one of those two in it.

Yeah, I quite liked it. I was really suspicious, but my movie-lovin' mate said it was better than he expected, so I gave it a rent. Enjoyed it quite a bit.

At least it didn't have Tom Hanks in it.

She was supposed to have done loads of genetic experiments - it was the experiments that created the kids just like it created the plants.

He wasn't going to kill him for that, he wanted to know WHY he was going to kill him then when he went to his flat to find out why, he found pictures of his missing kid. It should have ended after that scene...

Very '1984' influenced I guessed

Eye scans, Spyders and the idea that you're arrested for something you haven't actually done.

What I felt it didn't explain was how being the child of a drug user gave you a special gift of seeing the future

AND

That the only reason Tom Cruise was going to kill that guy is because he saw his own future... strange paradox thing.

I liked the fact that they had to let all the crims out though, that was kinda cool. And that Cruise was a drug user - it's about as dark as Spielberg's going to get.
