Macca’s contract with Real Madrid expires this summer and he has gone on the record saying he would not “rule out” a move back to England. He added that if he were offered a “challenge” he may take it and said that he really wants more first team football.

Any views?

Where do you think he would go?

It would be good for the Villa fans, after seeing no big names coming to our club for ages.

He could shore up Villa's midfield well- great idea Foreman. If he went to Everton he'd be one of the few players to go across Stanley Park- and no one had done that for 30 years before Nick Barmby recently.

He went LIVERPOOL to REAL MADRID i serouly doubt he will move to any english club lower than 9 th place, sorry if i have the table wrong but he will either go to

ARSENAL - just cant see it myself
MAN U - the wont have him, have enought good players
NEWCASLTE - yes, this would be a great signing for newcastle and aslo is what macca will be looking for
CHELSEA - same as newcaslte really only he might have a bit more competition fighting for a first team player
EVERTON - Moving from LIVERPOOL to EVERTON after being a really strong liverpool fan, i doubt it
LIVERPOOL - been there, done that, sold the t-shirt
.............
.........
..
..
..

Other teams who might have a chance of signing him are TOTTENHAM and SOUTHAMPTON... well thats if he even gets sold and if he moves to the prem

If Leeds do lose Harry Kewell to 'United, or someone else, then I think Steve McManaman could be a good replacement, down the left-wing. He's got good dribbling skills, and isn't afraid to take players on. And it's not like Leeds actually have a "proper" right-winger, is it? So, "Macca" could also play there - even if Kewell does stay.

Both Leeds and Middlesbrough have been linked with him before, and I think he'd do well at either club. But would 'Boro really need him with players like Geremi (provided they can afford him...) in the midfield?

He could even end-up in Scotland, you know!

But if Réal go on to win the Champions' League - again - then I reckon he'll do all he can to stay there, in his 6-bedroom home.

I could see him moving to Middlesbrough, I think he would fit in with their attacking midfield.

I can genuinely see him going to West Ham United.

I don't think that he will, but I would like to see Macca back at Liverpool. I could see him going to one of the mid table teams.

I hope he comes to Villa, as we are desperate in Midfield and Macca could help us.

i'd have him down for:

Chelsea, leeds or newcastle

He has ambition and i don't think he will go back to liverpool and these are the only clubs that are good enouh for him and might require his services

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
