Macca’s contract with Real Madrid expires this summer and he has gone on the record saying he would not “rule out” a move back to England. He added that if he were offered a “challenge” he may take it and said that he really wants more first team football.

Any views?

Where do you think he would go?

I suppose he might, due to the fact he played there for several years.

He'll go to Everton if he gets an offer- he supported them when he was a kid. As did Owen and Fowler, both very important to Scousers of the red shirts!

Apparently, Kevin Keegan is very keen on bringing him to city.

He has also said that the chance to be reunited with his old best pal Robbie could seal the deal.

Currently on around £65,000 a week, me thinks he may be in for a pay cut.

Believe me Newcastle won't touch Macca with a 10ft Cheque book! Bobby Robson has more sense than to sign a player who performs when he wants. You can take Newcastle off you lists because even though Sir Bobby is looking for players in the summer (Kliberson most likely and possibly a right back) I doubt very much so that he will pick up a second rate player who is finishing his career on the bench in the spanish league. A team lower down the table (possibly Villa) are the most likely to pick up a player like Macca but I am telling you now that Newcastle won't go near him.
