Apparently in the tunnel after the Turkey game there were a few scuffles between players and some threats were exchanged.
Gareth Southgate said it was all a bit “hectic” and, “'Wait until you come to Turkey was the shout, with fingers being passed across throats. And that was just the kit man!"
Alpay is also alleged to have been involved in an incident involving some of the English fans after the final whistle. So now the F.A are considering banning English fans travelling to Turkey for the return match. It is all to be decided depending on the severity of the “assault” on Alpay. Now, I believe that if any player is assaulted that the fan base responsible should be punished, but does anyone else notice how other groups seem to go unpunished?
There is a perfect example of this from this weekends games. During the Rep of Ireland match a knife and a bottle were thrown from the crowd at the Irish players, yet I have heard nothing about the F.A considering action against the Georgia fans.
Has anyone else heard if any action is to be taken?
Does anyone else think that crowd problems are dealt with more quietly if English fans aren’t involved?

Maybe, but Englands fans have proud history of this sort of thing. Did you see the news last night? England fans off the pitch (outside the stadium) made the headlines before anything was even said about what happened on the pitch.
