I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.

I went to go to my site this morning www.dmonster.co.uk/dmp-dtn but it seems to have vanished, so a tried connecting to freeola but it wouldn't connect even though my connection id and password was correct so I couldn't fix whatever the problem was because it wouldn't accept my user id and password. I don't know if this is related.

could my account have been hacked as I have not changed my password or anything. Only 3 people other than me know my id and password and they are my most trustworthy friends.

and I thought freeola was meant to be safe. :(

We are answering the phone and I spoke to the user in question about an hour ago.

From time to time the lines do get busy. There is no reason, no fault causing the backlog of calls.

However we would also point out that a good 70% of our call can be answered by using the support pages at www.Freeola.info.

If user would PRINT OUT the pages in their Freeola control panel (The ones with ALL you account settings on) there is virtually no problem you the user cannot solve.

ok, but still ... a support line not answering??

No matter who the customer is or what they are hosting ... its still not exactly a great advert for a company who don't answer the phone???

Seeing as we're here though, with regards to MySQL ... when the date comes close to expiring, how long before would you inform me, as to allow me to pay for continued use???

And don't phone the SR number, thinking you can jump the Q. You will have just wasted a call. They cannot help you.

He is not even hosting the board on us. just using the account to redirect the domain and serve the images.

Hope you like a forum with loads of little red crosses on it..

If you he had bothered to give a real contact address in his Freeola control panel, we would have been able to contact him about it. But he didn't, so we suspended the account.

There is a lesson to be learned there... (To anyone that reads this).

Try the SR Line, and ask if they can:

A: put you through to Freeola
B: Give 'em a kick in the butt and answer their bloody phone :)
