Oh my god. Looks like now instead of going with about ten mates, it is just me and one other.

Nope - this is the fastest ever. It took just over a day by all accounts, usually its a month or two. Not sure about other years, but in 1999 and 2000 you could still buy them at the gate as mates that went with me planned on fence jumping and while some made it some just paid up rather than hassling (magic train journey mellowed them out...).

It was 4 hours for all of 'em? I thought that was just on one site. Damn.

I wonder if Radiohead had anything to do with this...Didn't it sell out mucho fast the last time they were there ('97 or '98...or sometime)?

I was expecting to be able to buy one today at least. There's a thing somewhere saying it took 4 hours.

If we say 85,000 tickets at £110, that's £9,350,000 of ticket sales in 4 hours (I think, check my mental math).

I know the owner of The Club That Cannot Be Named which if you live in the oxfordish area you should know is the people who put on the live music at the Zodiac and Net. Anyway I tried calling him earlier to see if he had or knew where we could get some tickets. He didn't. But he did say we should have got them yesturday. But did anyone really see them going this quickly?

Madness. I only hope that site HelloHow... posted is of help. But we'll have to wait until at least 10am tomorrow for when it opens to find out.

I was complaining about how expensive it was this year at £109, my first one was under £80. Looks like I got quite a deal anyway.

Michael Eavis has made the vendors not send out tickets until two weeks before the event to try and stop the evil scum touts.

What doesn't make sense is how they sold out so quickly, last year they took ten weeks to sell out.

I also think that they perhaps may be able to increase the capacity as 85,000 tickets have been sold whereas last year it was around 100,000 and it was supposed to be 112,000 this year.

Perhaps it is an april fools joke. I really do hope it is.

I've heard something similar, thought that was a fan club thing. They normally are.

Yeah I also found a site with some on going for something like £285...was probably the same site.

Any chance of more tickets becoming available? I heard some Radiohead site has 500 to sale and they haven't put them out yet. When they do though, they'll go in a flash.

I saw some for sale on a gig ticket website.

I could get tickets and travel to about 20 gigs all with artists I really wanted to see for that. And I wouldn't have to sleep in a tent, pay £2.50 for a litre of water and be surrounded by 100k people.

Bloody hell that was quick. As a part timer i wasn't sure whether to go, because loads of my friends were unsure. At least I had my mind made up for me.
