Wow, another year has passed. I still remember WMX8, great PPV. No doubt many of us will be watching tonight. I won't be one of those, due to my mocks starting tomorrow, but I'll definatly watch the repeat. I know I can't wait, and I'm sure most of you can't either. This is hard for me to write, as I haven't watched WWE for the last two months. I don't know what's been going on. I'll predict based on what I do know, but my predictions will undoubtedly be incorrect.
So, here goes...

I don't know for this one - I can see Austin winning because he might not want to lose his first proper match back, especially as winning or losing, the Rock is leaving. Saying that, they've made a point that Rock has never won against SCSA, so this could be his time (but even so, wouldn't it have been more appropriate if it was a face Rock and heel Austin for that to happen?).
My prediction: The Rock

Vince McMahon vs. Hulk Hogan
Vince is 57. Hulk 53/55/somthing like that. I'm looking forward to this match from a novelty/interest/special attraction sort of match - should be entertaining, and I'm going for Vince on this one if Hogan decided to stay, Hogan if this really is his last match.
My prediction: Vince, because I think Hogan will be back again.
WWE SMACKDOWN :: WWE Championship
Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar
Absolute tragedy over Kurt's injury, from a fan and company perspective, and because, even though this match is going ahead, both men will be inhibited and reluctant to put on the show they both could if Kurt was 100%. Saying that, it will probably still be great. Kurt to lose the title in my view, although I hope they don't do an injury angle. I just hope Angle doesn't do himself some serious damage.
Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Triple H vs. Booker T
I hope Booker T wins, if just for variety's sake. Saying that, I don't mind if HHH wins because I think this feud is fresh enough to last another couple of months, and if the title changes hands eventually, I'll be happy.
Prediction: HHH, especially after Booker pinned him on Raw, becuase that's usually a bad sign (remember Hogan pinning Rock the Smackdown before WMX7?)

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho
Two of my favourite wrestlers, I'm looking forward to this match, and with HBK fresh, this could be the best match on it. Jercho is capable of having a great match with any opponent, and when that opponent is HBK, you know its going to be good. I also like the old style three month build-up to this match, as opposed to the three week. I'd like to see Y2J win a big match for a change, especially after last WM, but I wouldn't mind a HBK win either because I'm a big fan. I'm going for Y2J though.
