That depends entirely on the contaxt that you will be using the word.
For instance.
If you were to say that " There's no denying it " you would be using the German Nicht as the literal translation - the full phrase would be " es lässt sich nicht leugnen"
Also if you were calling somebody a no-hoper you would use the word Niete - " völlige Niete"
And then there is the use of the keine, for instance "It's a no through road" would translate to "es ist keine Durchfahrt"
So as you see there are many words that are used in German as direct translations of our word No.
Anything else we can help you with Sagacious ?

Nothing I feel nine, I mean fine. What's up?
It's cool to have witnessed the evolution of gaming, in no particular order: -
* Arcades dying as the technology available at home outclasses dedicated units
* The reintroduction of the console (snes / megadrive) after the Atari 2600 / colleco etc died
* The acceptance of the medium by advertising (PS1) and as a fashion accessory
* The Handheld revolution (GB, GBA, Lynx etc)
* The birth of the PC as a viable games machine (DOOM nach)
And what have we got to look forward too? DoomIII Mmmmmmmmmmm
(Just realised this really should be in "The future of gaming thread". Oh well)
