Barcalona
Valencia
AC Milan
Manchester United
Runners Up:
Inter Milan
Ajax
Real Madrid
Juventus
So three from Spain, three from Italy, and one each from the Netherlands and England. Our poorest showing for a while.
Does anyone know if they're keeping apart teams that met in the first round, or teams from the same country? I don't think they are, because before they went out, they claimed Newcastle + Arsenal could meet Man Utd, if they went through.
How about AC Milan vs Inter and Real vs Barcalona, that would be fun. That would leave Juventus vs Valencia and Man Utd vs Ajax. That draw would make me happy.

But I really don't see the difference between them - I'd say Ajax are the weakest there, followed by AC Milan (yes, you heard me).

What did you just say!?
:P
Looking at that list of teams there...bloody hell. Ajax may be the weakest team, but they dominated europe not too long ago.
Bookies have it like this at the moment to win the comp.
Real Madrid 3/1
Man Utd 9/2
Juventus 5/1
Valencia 11/2
Inter Milan 6/1
A C Milan 6/1
Barcelona 7/1
Ajax 16/1
Not really much to choose between them. Surprised to see Barcalona so far down the pecking order though...They are the only undefeated team in the comp aint they?
If we get Real Madrid, Inter or Valencia then so be it, to win this competition you have to beat the best at some stage otherwise you simply aren't good enough to claim the trophy.
Therefore I really don't mind who we face in the next round. There's no hiding behind teams and it is a known fact that United up their game against the bigger teams in Europe and it will be a great game whoever we get drawn against.
No easy teams there, but surely Ajax would be the preferred opponents?
If the drawing for the Champions' League is fixed - just like it has been for the FA Cup this season - then we'll definitley get Real, now, to rake-in the cash.
It would certainly be slightly "easier" for us to get Inter' or Ajax, but what would be so bad about getting Real done and out-of-the-way-with now?
I'm confident we can win, no matter who we're drawn against tommorow morning, at 11am.
I think we can beat Real, Valencia or Milan (either of them) on a good day. Utd are after all one of the finest teams in europe.
Arsenal may have what it takes to overpower the premiership, but they are lacking in european pedigree.
