Hello, welcome back to Eclipse, and prepare yourself for what is set to be a brutal hardcore match between two enemies. Josh Matthews, manager of Anarchy, gets a chance for revenge against Batista, who attacked him a short while ago. This is set to be a heated match, and we may well see Anarchy stepping in, as he has something to gain from this match as well - a win Josh’s way would see Batista having to face both of the duo - Josh tonight, and Anarchy at No Hold Barred.
Also, we will be making a point to make this match as realistic and SRW as possible. Plots using non-existent SRW characters attacking people and super-heels turning into fan-favourites will be kept to a minimum at all times.

And as I end that sentence, the crowd boo rampantly, for Batista has appeared at the top of the ramp, pushing a wheelbarrow which is full to the brim with weapons: bats, a dustbin, even a plant pot can be seen. Batista has laid this down under the apron, as if to hide it from Josh. He has pulled out a golf club from the wheelbarrow, and is now preparing himself in the ring.

And the crowd cheer, as Batista’s back turns and Josh speeds down the ramp. Batista is tightening his shoelace, leaning against the ropes! Josh using his mind here to pull one over on Batista. And he springs into the ring, but Batista has heard his footsteps and turns around to be met with a huge clothesline! Batista sent flying, and quite right too, as Josh has been gaining power into that hit right from the top of the ramp. Batista’s golf club now rests in Josh’s hands, but Batista seems to focused on Josh to care about the pain from that clothesline. Already he is up, and has wrestled the club out of Josh’s grip, only to be slammed into the turnbuckle and kicked in the mid-section rapidly. The golf club changing hands a lot at the moment, and Batista kicks it out of Josh’s hand, but Josh takes the advantage and grabs Batista’s leg, only to find Batista holding onto the ropes with his hands and delivering a nasty kick with his free leg to Josh’s head. Josh sent tumbling down, but not for long, as no matter what pain these men endure, at the moment it doesn’t matter to them - they are 100% focused on each other.

Batista has climbed out of the ring, and Josh attempts to throw the club at him, but it hits the ropes at an angle and bounces out of the ring away from both wrestlers. Batista pulls out.. a table! Josh gets up to try a Baseball slide, which Batista dodges, and then flings the table into the ring, which Josh dodges. Josh sets up the table, and Batista climbs into the ring, and he is running to a back-turned Josh. Will he put Josh through already? No! Josh is cheered as he anticipates the attack and sticks a leg out, which Batista runs straight into. Batista starting to acknowledge the pain, but only for a few seconds, as he is back and focused on Josh once more. The table is dangerously close to Josh’s back, and a powerbomb-esque move now would be devastating. But Josh strikes first, only getting Batista into a headlock, which is broken straight away as Josh is met by the forearm of Batista. Josh also feeling the pain for a split-second, but he is right back in this, and... Batista catches a run from Josh.. into the air... above the table... oh! Batista just flung Josh OVER the table! The crowd almost died halfway through that move, but Josh rolls up, and the table now separates the two men.

Batista runs into the table, and tries to push it into Josh, ramming him into the corner, but Josh mounts the turnbuckle and climbs down onto the apron and back into the ring. The table now right in one corner, as Josh and Batista go head to head yet again. A kick from Josh, a punch from Batista - nothing really separating the two men as of yet. The two men edge closer to the table. And the crowd cheer! Batista and Josh don’t bat an eye, but we can see something the really should care about. Yes, that’s right - Anarchy! He’s steadily walking down the ramp, and into the ring... he runs at the two men...

“Josh.. MOVE!!”

Josh falls out of the way, and Batista is left alone, with a table behind him. Anarchy hits a spear.. which.. Batista reverses! Batista into an Inverted DDT! He uses all his strength, and twists Anarchy round mid-air, and sends Anarchy THROUGH THE TABLE! Anarchy tried a spear, Batista tried an Inverted DDT, span Anarchy round mid air and sent Anarchy front first throught the table! Well, not the impact that Anarchy would have liked to make on this match at all! Josh appears behind him, clutching the golf club. And a straight hit, catching Batista right round his head! And again! And again! He won’t stop! The crowd cheer, which is a surprise for... Billy Gunn! Billy Gunn, who has made no impact on SRW yet, comes downto the ring, and heads straight under the apron, and pulls out a steel chair! He flies under the rope and shoves it full force into Josh’s, er, manly area, and delivers a Fameasser to Josh onto the chair! He drags Batista up and throws him onto Josh.

Batista pulls off the win, which means no Anarchy Vs Batista at No Hold Barred! But on everyone’s mind at the moment... Billy Gunn?

“Batista.. I have admired you for ages. You are everything a wrestler should be, and I believe that teaming up with you would do my SRW career a lot of good, as well as yours. I know I am not a regular here by any means, but I know how to wrestle, so what do you say? I won’t take no for an answer - and I saved you butt there.”

“Y-yes.. okay.”

“Okay. Listen up Josh. Listen up Anarchy. I bet now you’ll want to get your hands on us. Well, in your current state, I wouldnt waste the effort into beating you. So, at No Holds Barred, instead of Anarchy Vs Batista like their could have been, I challenge you to a Tag Team Tables match. Because I want to see you BOTH put through tables. You can’t refuse - I’m ordering you, not telling you.”

Billy Gunn throws down the microphone and walks off with Batista, to a silent crowd in the background. Josh and Anarchy look a little overwhelmed by it all, but they no the task they face at No Holds Barred. It’s gonna be one hell of a match.

Not quite yet. If the alliance remains after NHB, then yes.

My favourite bit, not too sure why, just liked it. {:)

One of your best so far Asher, I was amused by your early comment to do with plotlines. :D Also, the match was reasonably hardcore but left me wanting more at NHB, so I can't wait for the tag team tables match now, should be brutal. Nice to see Billy Gunn back (I used to be him.)

Couple of questions.

1. Is the Hardcore title on the line in that match at NHB?

2. D'you want me to add you two to the SRW Tag Teams roster?

Oh, and by the way, Hogan (Asher D) is in a non-title match with SRW Champion RVD (AfroJoe) this week which I'm writing...so don't say your wrestlers never do anything. ;)

Nice one dude.

You said it yourself. Writing your own characters into feuds can have it's advantages and it's disadvantages. If you feel that your character is not getting enough matches, you could write a promo to start a feud (preferably against someone not in a feud) or write it into a match, like you did here.

I'm sure whoever writes the Table match will do it justice. :)

I'm a little saddened that I won't be writing the TTT match, as Billy Gunn is in it. Ah, well.. it'll be nice to see one of my wrestlers actually doing anything. :-)

Good match. I was surprised at Billy Gunns interference and also at Anarchys failure to take down Batista with that spear! The tag team match should be interesting.

Well done Asher! :D
