I read in the newspaper today that Osama Bin Laden's neice is building her way to pop sucess in the UK. I think that letting a relation of the man who killed thousands of innocent people become a household name for good reasons is a huge contradiction of terms. Ok so it wasn't her fault at all but it will be strange in a few years if "Mary Bin Laden" (Ok I made the name up, I forgot it) was doing an MTV interview telling generations of kids her dad was a psychpath dictator who led the taliban.
What does anyone else think to this news?

Heard this on the radio a few days ago.
Waffa (sp?) Bin Laden is her name and she currently lives in London and she fears her name may cause people to judge her before she even sings.
I know they say that people are different and just because he is her father dosn't make her evil (like Luke and Darth Vader I guess :-) )
But thats a film and this is real and I think for her own safety she shouldn't, world ain't ready too and people will judge her on who her father is and what he was responsible for. Some will see it as an insult to those who were lost.
And as someone said on the radio, she could use her profits to fund terrorism. Make of that what you will.
I for one think we have enough crap music already.
