I've just been looking around and noticed Amazon.com's associates program again...

I saw this before and didn't think much of it but now I'm getting a couple of hundred hits a day on my site, I was wondering how successful this program is?

Even if it's a matter of a few quid a year, for the hassle it is, it's probably worth it...

Can someone just give me a few facts on how successful they've found the program to be if they're doing it?

I was just wondering and I remember somone mentioning about doing it and getting something out of it...

They've changed their system slightly. Now, all you have to do is ensure your site ID is passed along in the Link or as a hidden value ina Search Form, and you'll get any money owed to you :).

If you don't stick to the script they give you, or if you mess with it, or you try to make your own, the chances are they won't pay you. Plus their script does not validate. Their banners change and update automatically so you don't have to worry about that.

That's quite a cool script, and probably more suited to your page.

http://www.haignet.co.uk/ and you'll see how the Advert is displayed, it has an added line of text underneath, which if you don't want, thenyour Script is easier :)

I do this. But I only have CDs on my site. And all the CDs have a variety of places to buy them and the price... and Amazon isn't usually the cheapest so it's probably no suprise that I've made no money as yet... I can always hope... :D
