10 days ago I got a NTL mailshot, from 14/3/03 for 14 days they will upgrade my connection from 128k to 600k.

Tried a speed detection program and am still around the 30/31kb mark (same as 128k)

Anyone else got the offer and tried it out ?

This will be a real treat if it applies to me. I have 128K NTL broadband, and I don't bother receiving mail from my NTL account. I will have to rrrrun home and check \o/

ummm... when was it sposed to start, cos like i had my '14' day upgrade trial like 2 months ago, and it didnt actually start to kick in until about 4 days into the trial, but they managed to make it go back to 128k on the day it ws sposed tpo go off pretty acurate. Anyway, if you get 30kps with 128k, i wouldnt complain, on avergae i get about 15 on avergae days, and about 22 at the very best.

Brighton? Yeah, I definitely know it's uncapped there. I have a friend who lives in Brighton.

I spoke to NTL this morning, our free upgrade (which should have started last Friday) has not happened yet.
NTL - can't even deliver a promised free upgrade on time, doesn't install faith does it !

Got a high of 32kb a second last night on my test program !

I would presume in many places around the country it is capped to 128K (a mate in Bradford says his connection is crap, so I would guess there for a start), but certainly here in Brighton it's 256K all the way, babay!!~!
