Hello

I have been working on a new portfolio site this week and would like some feed back on behaviours in certain browsers. The site is Standards Compliant and uses xHTML (transitional) and CSS2.

Basically, I can't be bothered to install new software at the moment due to getting a new machine in a couple of weeks.

Now I know how it looks in IE6 (use this as a reference), Moz 1.2.1 and NS7 (all Windows based) and anything below IE5 & NS6 should get a nice page informaing them that their browser is cr@p (/basic.php) and that they should upgrade based on the webstandards.org recommendations.

I would be interested in anyone using a Mac (IE/Safari etc) and Opera (all platforms). The aim is to find which browsers can't render it properly and use more scripting to redirect those browsers elsewhere, or even as far as loading alternative CSS's based on OS/Platform/Browser.

There's no content yet, it's just a shell of templates at the moment.

Is that IE6/SP1 or IE6.0 on '98? There's a big difference in how it's defined. I had a look at the JS detect and all seems OK. Stick in /welcome.php to get to the home page.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
