Listened to this last night and it struck me just how beautiful this lyric is...
"Will you catch me if I'm falling?
Will you kiss me if I'm leaving?
Will you hold me when I'm lonely?"
Inspiring lyrics from a great band that are just fantastic.
I have some great live gigs on cd and some great one off versions of some tunes so if you are interested in any of them let me know rasta
Now. This is beautiful.
You and me
Meant to be
Immutable
Impossible
It's destiny
Pure lunacy
Incalculable
Insufferable
But for the last time
You're everything that I want and ask for
You're all that I'd dreamed
Who wouldn't be the one you love
Who wouldn't stand inside your love
Protected and the lover of
A pure soul and beautiful you
Don't understand
Don't feel me now
I will breathe
For the both of us
Travel the world
Traverse the skies
Your home is here
Within my heart
And for the first time
I feel as though I am reborn
In my mind
Recast as child and mystic sage
Who wouldn't be the one you love
Who wouldn't stand inside your love
And for the first time
I'm telling you how much I need and bleed for
Your every move and waking sound
In my time
I'll wrap my wire around your heart and your mind
You're mine forever now
Who wouldn't be the one you love and live for
Who wouldn't stand inside your love and die for
Who wouldn't be the one you love
You know the song.
Radiohead - No Surprises
A heart that's full up like a landfill
A job that slowly kills you
Bruises that won't heal
You look so tired unhappy
Bring down the goverment
They don't, they don't speak for us
I'll take a quiet life
A handshake of carbonmonoxide
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
Silent
Silent
This is my final fit
my final bellyache
With no alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises, please
Such a pretty house and
Such a pretty garden
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises, please.
I suppose it'd be even more emotional for someone who had lost a loved one recently, but the lyrics still touch me when I think of loved ones I lost a long time ago.
HEAVEN HOLDS THE ONES I LOVE
Performed by DAVID FOSTER and ‘NITA WHITAKER
Verse 1:
I’ve spent my life building castles of dreams,
Reaching for each distant star.
As tears clear my eyes I finally realize,
Happiness is where you are…
And I’m still a part of you…
You’re still a part of me…
And I swear I’ll always celebrate your memory,
You live inside of me.
Chorus:
Heaven holds the ones I love.
I see your eyes twinkle in the skies above.
My hopes are floating in the clouds,
The wind repeats your name out loud,
Whoa, heaven holds the ones I love.
Verse 2:
At times I’m unsure why our hearts must endure,
All the pain and such great loss.
Still look, what I’ve gained, I feel your kiss in the rain,
But it’s your smile I miss the most.
And I’m still a part of you…
And you’re still the biggest part of me…
And I swear I’ll always celebrate your memory,
And trust what’s meant to be.
(Chorus)
Bridge:
And in my grief and disbelief,
One thing I know is true.
Every breath I take,
Brings me that much closer to you.
(Chorus)
Heaven holds the ones I love.
Never released in the UK though...
I am the key to the lock in your house
That keeps your toys in the basement
And if you get too far inside
You'll only see my reflection
It's always best when the light is off
I am the pick in the ice
Do not cry out or hit the alarm
You know we're friends till we die
And either way you turn
I'll be there
Open up your skull
I'll be there
Climbing up the walls
It's always best when the light is off
It's always better on the outside
Fifteen blows to the back of your head
Fifteen blows to your mind
So lock the kids up safe tonight
Put the eyes in the cupboard
I've got the smell of a local man
Who's got the loneliest feeling
That either way he turns
I'll be there
Open up your skull
I'll be there
Climbing up the walls
Climbing up the walls
Climbing up the walls
Anne Murray - You Needed Me
I cried a tear, you wiped it dry
I was confused, you cleared my mind
I sold my soul, you bought it back for me
And held me up and gave me dignity
Somehow you needed me
You gave me strength to stand alone again
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, you needed me
And I can't believe it's you
I can't believe it's true
I needed you and you were there
And I'll never leave, why should I leave?
I'd be a fool 'cause I finally found someone who really cares
You held my hand when it was cold
When I was lost you took me home
You gave me hope when I was at the end
And turned my lies back into truth again
You even called me "friend"
You gave me strength to stand alone again
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, you needed me
You needed me, you needed me
> That's one thing that CC aren't.
Oh, I know. Couting Crows rock. Mr Jones has been a favourite of mine for years, and I always enjoy listening to Omaha.
> I find that, unfortunately, a lot of what could be beautiful words are
> wasted on one hit boyband songs.
That's one thing that CC aren't.

> But that said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and should one
> want to, one could see beauty in anything.
And that is very true.
But that said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and should one want to, one could see beauty in anything.
