Listened to this last night and it struck me just how beautiful this lyric is...

These lyrics, also by Radiohead always stir me. And when with the song are truly beautiful. Scary and hurtful at the same time but still beautiful. This song and these lyrics have been known to make me cry on occassion. Damn I'm girly :-)

One of my favourite songs for lyrics is below. Never released in the UK though.

I suppose it'd be even more emotional for someone who had lost a loved one recently, but the lyrics still touch me when I think of loved ones I lost a long time ago.

I always thought that the lyrics to Anne Murrays - You needed me, were buitful in a similar sort of way. I used to think that she was singing them to God, but since God doesn't exist anymore I can see the error of my ways, and she was in fact singing them to a loved one, maybe a lover or maybe a parent.
