You just used the argument of "We've never done it, so nothing else can either."
Just because we're dragged through time in one direction, it doesn't mean that things cannot exist that can move both forwards and backwards. And possibly sideways.

well, kind of I suppose, It all comes down to how you label the dimensions. The way I see it time is not a true dimension because it is one way. You cannot move back in time. Supposing there were a fourth spatial dimension which we are oblivious to, surely that would be the fourth spatial dimension and time would be the first temporal dimension. Quantum theories points to there being at least ten spatial dimensions. (ten dimensional string theory)
