In 3D everything is 2D with depth, all that's different is that there is an apparent deeper meaning to the inexplicable things that we do, have done will continue to do.

We are. Futile.

I hope you don't mean that you can go faster than the speed of light, because you can't.
In fact the only thing that can potentially go faster than the speed of light is a "group" or "packet" of light.

Otherwise no chance mate

Ah, but you can outspeed light, which has also been proven.

It was also the title of a great Weird Al Yankovic album which contained the song 'Nature Trail to Hell'.

I agree, but all the theories point to it not being possible. The best shot is using wormholes, whether they be naturally formed of artificially. The problem with that is that wormholes are very unstable, and the presence of anything in them may cause them to collapse. Also, there's no guarantee you will still be you when you come out the other end. You might be turned into any number of particles with the equivalent energy as you.

Venombyte was right, you can't cross the light speed barrier. I'm pretty sure you can't start out in "elsewhere" which is the term for things that lie outside of the future and past light cones.

You can't cross the lightspeed barrier, that's been mathematically proven.

But what if you were to start the other side of it?

I was, of course, refering to all the pictures of sunny spring afternoons, with the smell of freshly cut grass all around you.

What were you thinking of eh?
Eh?
