Is anyone taking part in Nintendo's Metroid website compo?

I am, it cant be that hard to produce a website, especially when they provide the media for you.

I fancy grabbing me one of those Samus statues, failing that I might geta metroid pak - I'll finally have that nameplate i want.

Cascading Style Sheets, it's a way to standardise your fonts without having to repeat it with each font tag.

If I have time I'll explain it briefly or give you a link to a page that will later.

Can you hand-code pages?

If you want to look for a tutorial I'm sure they won't be too hard to find.

But black and metroid prime go, its like a horse and carriage relationship. And i cant seem to change the font, yahoo pagebuilder is sort of basic like that.

NOOOOOOO!!!

Website gospel:

Black backgrounds are bad. Times New Roman is bad.

But anyway, sort that out, and then go for a standardised menu on the side (so it's the same on every page). This allows you to use a single template and quickly create new pages without having to worry about what links are going where. Fill pages out with plenty of text, preferably Verdana or Arial as a font, and use some CSS to make things look a little less amateurish.

I would do a site, but I can't be bothered roaming around for images and fan info on the game. I just want to play the damn thing.
