the reason given:
South America has won the world cup 9 times but hasn't hosted the event since Argentina '78.
Yes. They keep on winning it, so we might as well give one of them home advantage so they can win it again.

I think England will look to either Robinson or Kirkland for the first team keeper in the next tournament.
I will go out on a limb here and say I think England stand a real chance at the next world cup. All our young starlets will be coming into their prime, I think the next Euro tournament will show the potential England are now producing.
Playing on South American soil will bring more complaints from European counterparts, in particular the English - if they fail once again.
Brazil and Argentina must be laughing, the World Cup's staying 'home'
2014.
hmmmm, I'll be 30 by then!. If all goes to plan I'll probably be living somewhere in North/South America by then. British Columbia seemed like a nice place to live the last time i went there...
The highest praise you could possibly give the man, is

Ha ha! LOL!
Are you by any change of the ilk who also believe Heskey to be a world class forward?
David James is an excellent shotstopper. What he is not, is an excellent goalkeeper. Or a good goalkeeper. He has no arial ability whatsoever, and is on the wrong end of mistakes far too often just to blame bad luck. The highest praise you could possibly give the man, is to say he's just having a run of bad form which has lasted five or six years.
However, that's a very big IF.
