But when I went 2 Cyprus, on both occasions, they all seemed to support Liverpool, and drink a nothing-but Carlseberg (you see?).

If you're Norwegian, you'll support Rosenborg.
If you're Danish, you'll probably be a Brondby fan.
Greeks will like either AEK Athens, or Panathinaikos (probably more likely), and the same will apply to Greek-living Cypriots.
Turks all seem to like Galatasaray, while brutally fighting with the other 50% of the country's population, who all like Fenerbache.

I'm from Germany, and I don't support *any* German teams...
