The N64's first person shoot-em-up games are second only to the PC, due to the 64bit console's vastly superior graphics and control pad. Just play GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil if you don't believe me.

Ok, can you justify that? What makes the N64 better than the PS/PS2 for fps? The only advantage I find is having the trigger on the back of the controller, feels more natural.

Medal of Honor I thought wasnt that bad at all. The sequel M o H Underground is better though. The best FPS on any console at the moment has to be the incredible Quake III on DC, I just love that game!!!

It took ages to get used to after the N64 pad, but now I've started using it more it's got muchbetter. I just hate having to stand still to aim, or change your hand position to use the C-buttons, makes oyu an easy target.

Dual Stick Analogue...errrgghh, I hate it. The N64 pad may look a bit funny but its far superior to the Playstation Dual shock pads for FPShooters.

hmm...I remember about a year or so ago being the local Goldeneye champion, winning a load of tournaments etc, but after a few months of timesplitters with the dual stick analogue configuration, I find the n64 control method unusable. As the games and technology improve and more of the arenas are spread over multiple levels, being able to look and target accurately is a great help. Still not a patch on mouse keyboard though...
