We walk towards the ground and there's a full scale riot, objects being thrown here, there and everywhere, screams, shouts, police batons flying, what the hell is it all about?
We're in the ground, you see fights breaking out in the other stands, punches flying, people falling. You don't concentrate on the game, you just wonder if the person next to you is a Blues fan and you'll be the next one on the recieving end of pointless violence.
I've never seen anything like what I have tonight, but I'm safe and so are all my friends, so I guess that's what matters most.
I know that football evokes a lot of emotion if you are really 'into' it, and I know we all get into very heated discussions on here sometimes. but what these people need to remember is that, at the end of the day, it *is* ONLY a game.
There are far more important things going on in the world, and it doesn't matter if Villa win or Birmingham win - or whether Arsenal win the championship or Man Utd do - it's all pretty trivial stuff in the grand scheme of things.
We soaked up what little pressure you applied and indeed you had 0 (zero) shots on goal whatsoever... how can be shocked that you lost when Vassen and later Horsfield neither had a solitarity shot to save?
By the way i am a Birmingham City fan incase you hadnt figured that :p
Some people still live in the dark ages...
