We walk towards the ground and there's a full scale riot, objects being thrown here, there and everywhere, screams, shouts, police batons flying, what the hell is it all about?
We're in the ground, you see fights breaking out in the other stands, punches flying, people falling. You don't concentrate on the game, you just wonder if the person next to you is a Blues fan and you'll be the next one on the recieving end of pointless violence.
I've never seen anything like what I have tonight, but I'm safe and so are all my friends, so I guess that's what matters most.
No matter what channel we watch or where we sit in the stands theres always gonna be off the ball moments that the officials and many of the public and TV crews dont see, obviosuly we cant do nothing about those (but the players can and this may explain why some retribution takes place on the field)
Aston Villa Vs Birmingham - Birmingham players are seen spitting at Villa players, but are never seen by any of the officials. I'm pleased that none of the Villa players reacted.
I feel that Gudjohnson and Dublin should get fined by the Club and maybe F.A., along with some of the Blue Noses that was seen spitting.
I too cant wait till next season... its already brewing into a nice little soap :p
I don't know what Savage said to Dublin, but I bet that it was not nice and probably racist. I'm just hoping that we don't get deducted points and bought back to the relegation battle, just because of a few fans.
Wait til next season, we'll show them 'Blue Noses'.

Im guessing you dont go to many away games or you would see the same thing wherever you went... even if Liverpool were playing against Nuneaton Boro the boro fans would hurl abuse at Riise... thats part of football.. every player has at some stage been on the recieving end of opposition fan abuse im sure.
And im sure that at least 15 of the Premierships 20 clubs would love Savage in their team :D
Robbie Savage doesn't help either, long-haired punk. :D
People have been moaning about the ref's lately, but to me, Mark Halsey had a great game last-night. And believe it or not, but I can't even recall one single mistake he may have made!
But I bet it's just a one-off...
Next though, I reckon they'll be having a moan at the Stewards, and how they failed to keep those one-or-two fans off the pitch. Looking past the sidelines from time-to-time, I could see several stewards struggling to keep control of large blocks of fans!
Expect 'Villa to get a backlashing from the FA, soon!
> There are far more important things going on in the world, and it
> doesn't matter if Villa win or Birmingham win -
Whilst that is in part true you must also look at it from this perspective...
for 2 hours last night over a million people from Birmingham were only thinking about the result of this game.
For 2 hours they could put any concerns of work, relationships, money problems and everything that is an everyday worry to the vast majority of people.
For 2 hours last night the result of this match WAS everything...
