Umm, it wasn't ever on the shelves!

I think PS2 has it's qualities - sure! But it's DOUBLE (double) the price of a Dreamcast, and cannot compete GAMES wise, and I'd like to see a game that is better visually and gameplay wise than Shenmue.

Now, the DC will not fail - it has reached over 7million people so far, and yet Sony fans seem to think that the PS2 will romp all over it.

The PS2 has more processing power - so what? the DC is Internet ready, available NOW and many games including the fabulous Quake 3 have full Internet access and multi player gaming.

PS2, I feel will not emulate the success of the PSone, or even the success it has had in Japan, but who really cares about statistics, or by how many have been sold?

Get whatever console you like, at the end of the year you will have played some truly outstanding titles on it, and won't regret anything.

I have a DC, but I also have a PSX (for sale), 4 Saturns, and too many N64's, but I'm currently redescovering my talents on Mario 3 on the NES!

All games good, all features good - get what you like.

I recommend Dreamcast - the most INNOVATIVE range of peripherals (not the word INNOVATIVE Sony), but welcome back roden - its good to see your typing once more - I hope you've made as much money as you can online, and welcome back.

Yep, because Mario 64 started the 3D platformer.

It doesn't if you own a N64 or DC you will see why, the games are more orginal than the PS2's.

Both Sniper and roden are hilarious.

I've been a regular on here ever since it started, and I know that the PS2 is a great console, and I may be biased tonight, but that's 'cos I'm in a bad mood, but I can easily think up of loads of points about why the PS2 RULES!!

Yes. Let's all go against the PS2 and support the Dreamcast. Even though the PS2 has spectacular graphics (I have one), superb games and will have the best games ever and I'm pretty sure will have overcome the DC by July this year.
