It'll be boxed if the XBOX is the better console, and takes control.
If the Nintendo Gamecube is the victor, then the future will be cubed!
I think that the Dreamcast still has some life in it, but will be on its last legs by the time that Nintendo and Microsofts consoles arrive.
PS2 is a funny one. It depends on how good its next wave of games are. If there are lots of good games when the others are released then it might survive.
I'm not sure exactly whats going to happen, but the future of gaming is sure to be fun!

Biased PS2 fans?? Well, what about all the biased Nintendo and Sega fans?? Perhaps Nintendo and Sega are messing with their minds??
Try and THINK before you post.
As you can see, I'm not in a good mood today.
Well, we'll see at E3, when Tony sends me.
I'll send you all back videos everyday, I promise.
the truth is out there......................................
U obviously decided to waffle a lot in the post below.
I think the future will be U GUESSED IT!
MAC SHAPED

It is amazing what TV adveretising can do for companies. Look and Eric Clapton's Riding with the King album...that sold out everywhere because of TV advertising.
I hope that the consoles do just as well as each other...well Maybe nintendo a bit more than Microsoft but don't think that Microsoft won't have it's fans.
I think that it is early days yet, I think all of the games companies will take new paths after E3 and the countdown will start then! I still feel that the release dates for the consoles may be tentative, but as I said E3 will be the place, Microsoft are scheduled to have a playable X-Box and hopefully Nintendo will be able to compete with a Gamecube on show!
I don't know what Sony or Sega will bring to the fight but rumors about Sega games sceduled for release on the GBA are forever growing! I can't see what Sony can do, I feel that although their console is out and Poeple are now starting to buy it, I think that they might be in a good position as the PS2 price will be lower by the time all the consoles are released!
Having said that, Nintendo's GAMECUBE may cost as little as £150, a very good marketting scheme if the company can afford it! Well each day is a step further...one step at a time eh...?!
