Oh well, Worthington Cup and Champ League still to play for.
Another thing to pick up on is that they have only kept 2 clean sheets in thier last 14 league games. Which could mean somthin if you can manage to stop them scoring...which of course happenend on that great day at OT in December...
After Charlton they have Blackburn away and Everton at home. Two teams which Arsenal have taken a total of ZERO points off this season. So should be interesting...
Nice one Sir Alex Ferguson!! :P
But I still believe we have a good chance of doing it in Europe.
We always seem really fired-up for those games... More-so than we are in the league.

This points to exactly what I was saying a week or two ago. Derby matches are largely the same as FA Cup games, and is why - I believe - London clubs have trouble winning the league.
ManYoo only really have City, although you could *possibly* - at a stretch - mark up the games against Leeds, Liverpool and Arsenal as 'almost' derby matches.
The London teams almost have a mini-league of their own within the Premiership. Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Charlton, Fulham and West Ham have derby matches for almost a third of their games in a season.
Any team from the same region will put up more of a fight in a normal season - Arsenal (or any other London team for that matter) being champions only adds to their efforts. Home or away, however good or bad your form, doesn't really matter in a derby match
Arsenal's season so far pretty much proves the point. 2-2 with West Ham, sandwiched between 2-0 and 5-2 wins; then a 1-1 draw with Chelsea before another 2-1 win; then a 3-0 win over Charlton, a narrow 1-0 win over Fulham and a 3-0 win over Spurs before a 1-1 draw on their ground; then another narrow win over Chelsea 3-2; West Ham again at 3-1; and Fulham again by a narrow 2-1 margin. Only three comfortable wins over London teams in nine matches. At home to Charlton next, and I wouldn't like to call that one - remember last season!
That's why I think it's more of an achievement for a London club to win the Premiership. Until such time as ManYoo have more 'local' competition, they have it pretty easy. Supposedly, anyway! :-)

It's a Derby match, so the game will be totally different. Just look what Birmingham did to Villa earlier in the season. I'm sure that if it wasn't a Derby match, you probably would of won them.
We simply aren't good enough and I don't really seeing us winning much this season. We continue to get dominated by lesser teams and rarely show any desire to win games anymore.
By that, I mean a great game, or a complete and utter bore.
As to who wins - I couldn't really give a toss, but I'd like it to be Liverpool just for the possibility of United getting nothing for the second year running.
But the last time the League Cup really meant anything was when Arsenal did the Cup Double - and then only because of the uniqueness of the event! :-)
Ever the optimist eh mate? ;)
:P
