Two bloody United shots on target in the entire match. Dropping points against a relagation threatened team is bad enough, but HOW THE HELL ARE BOTLON DOMINATING?
What happended to our 'never-say-die' attitude? Where's the will to win? Why wait until the last five minutes to throw everything at them? We used to move up a gear as soon as we conceded a goal. Nowadays we look sheepish and then decide to think about attacking 20 minutes later. Granted, we managed to pull one back. If we'd tried a little earlier perhaps we'd have gotten another.
If something fundamental does not change in the way United are playing this season, we will not be able to stop Arsenal winning the Premiership again.
> Bit of an exaggeration there.
Only a very, very small bit of exaggeration! 3 out of 4 breaks in play they go off for a quick ad.
He can't blame the timing, 'proffesional' footballers are supposed to be ready for shocks and sudden changes like this, so they should've been ready for it. But cearly, they weren't up-for the match.
I think it's down to the team, and how he's picking the exact same line-up, week-in, week-out. But when a substitute (like John O'Shea in mid-week), it all changes, and this "different" team is now willing-to-win and score-goals, and the line-up is more unpredictable, something that the opposing manager cannot deal with.
He'd tried to go with something different with this 4-3-3, by the looks of things, but that's just never gonna work - just like the lone-striker role!
Van Nistelrooy may be world-class, but you can't expect him to be on the end of every Beckham and Giggs ball that goes forward, especially with 4 defenders around him! That's why we need someone else alongside him - a PROPER "striker", someone else for the midfield to look for, so the ball actually gets froward and STAYS there for longer.
I just can't believe we've gotta stick with him in-charge for another 2/3 seasons yet....! Stick your finger out, Kenyon, and 'ave a word with 'im if we end this season trophy-less, AGAIN!!

Bit of an exaggeration there.

Heh!
Seriously though - I know it seems really petty on my part, and... well, it is... but this 4:05 kick-off thing really p!sses me off. It's obviously been done to fit in with Sky and their bloody scheduling - so they can get their sodding adverts in, and that really, really annoys me.
Watching the NFL on Sky is really annoying, with adverts at EVERY break in play. How long before - as the Americans wanted to do with the World Cup - they try and get football divided into four quarters, to get more advertising in?
=D
:)
According to the papers today, this time the fault lies with the police, who insisted that the kick-off be brought forward from 3pm to midday.

But...
Bolton were going for a double against us this season.
Newcastle lost 4-3 there.
