Need some names of shops in the UK that sell computer games for a piece of coursework.

I can only think on GAME.

Well apart from Game there is:

Blockbuster
HMV
Virgin
PC World
Currys

and I can not think of any more at the moment.

They only do imports on their website, but the actual stores have english games, and preowned games. Quite a bit of variety. Worth a look, if you are ever in the East Midlands.
