Ok so I want to write a new website all in html (My old one was half pagebuilder half html) - I am going to use frontpage so I can upload it all at once but I need some help with it.

1. When you save a page with embedded images, can you simply upload the html code onto a website and the image will be displayed?

2. When you link pages together in Frontpage, when the site is uploaded do they still remain linked?

3. How do I get different colour backgrounds?

If someone can help I would be very grateful

if you're hosting on geocities, then that's where the images should be. But be mindful not to go overboard on images if you're using geocities, they have an extraordinarilly stringent data transfer policy, and the more images you're using, the faster your transfer limit will run out, and your site will be down for an hour.

Cheers IB, I don't understand how you mean uploading images into html.

Do you mean upload the images onto the server i.e. geoshitties, then link the image to where I want it displayed on the page for example "my files/pics/pic123"

1) you have to upload all the images, unless they are already being referenced from an online source.

2) provided all of the files are uploaded and the file structure remains intact, then yes. But of course, it depends on how you've put your links together. If you've referenced local directories outside of those which will be uploaded, then no. if you've just done things like href="index.html" or href="../stuff/home.html" etc, then you'll be fine

3) alternatively, use an image as background (though not recommended personally)

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
