"Will Arsenal make it?"

Looking at Arsenal's CL group now, there are three teams tied at the top with 5 points each. 3 games to play. Arsenal were nothing short of simply not good enough last night, and their remaining fixtures are:

Away to Ajax, at home against Roma and then away to Valencia.

The only one of those anyone can expect Arsenal to come away with all three points is against Ajax, but after last night's display, I doubt they will. Roma caused problems last time they played them, and the final scoreline flattered them, and, well, the way Arsenal played last night, they won't be getting any points from Valencia anytime soon.

Arsenal's group suddenly became a tough prospect...

End of the day its the Europeon cup contested by the Elite clubs in Europe. We would miss out on soooo much if it only involved the champions of each country. Seria A, The Premiership, and the primera liga deserve all the champions league spots they get, becasue the top teams in each division are only usually seperated by a few points come the end of the season.

I've always said that it's not right, to be honest. It's not a CHAMPIONS LEAGUE if the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place teams are entered, is it?

It's strange how when United were winning the league the Arsenal fans weren't voicing any objections about teams that hadn't won the league being still allowed in the champ league. Very strange indeed

I certainly hope so.

And of course, United would never have won it.

Shame they hadn't thought of bringing the idea in earlier.

Could have saved Arsenal a few embarrassments.

Probably just as well really - well, from your point of view at the moment, anyway. :-)

Oh, and the reason I personally wasn't around... PC troubles. And that's PC as in my computer - I didn't get arrested!

Pretty dire from Arsenal on Tuesday, to be honest - another half-hearted display like the second half against Newcastle. Still, made up for it today.

Is it next season that ONLY the champions get into the CL? Hmm...
