I dont care what anyone says about the N64 to me its the best console on the market at the moment and thats including the dreamcast and playstation 2, no other console can boast the two best games developers in the world making games soley for there machine im of course talking about Nintendo and Rare. The N64 seems to be the only console that actually has original and quality games, the only games on the playstation are either sequels or they are exactly the same as an earlier game.
Everyone knows that sony copy a lot of Nintendo ideas for example the rubmle pacK and the analogue stick, another recent example is Mario Party a completely original and amazingly fun game made by nintendo and what do sony do they try and copy it exactly but totally c**k it up in the process the game im talking about is Crash bash and ythen what happens Sega try and copy it as well with a game that features Sonic im not sure what its called but it comes out soon.

i dont believe the weapons on perfect dark were over the top. think about it...the game is set in the future so what do u expect, i was in shock the first time i used the secondary function on the slayer.
micromachines although poor one player has quality multiplayer. i has only played on it 4 player though. being able to play 8 player is a first for any console surly. if u can find this game buy it. shouldnt cost more than £10. strictly only play multiplayer though.
i know it aint multiplyer but rambi's arena on DK64 is good for having competitions with your mates. that kept me going for ages. anybody else any good at it? my higest score was 208.
My top ten Multi games are:
The World Is Not Enough-Such a great game with great levels, and its weapons arnt over the top like PD's.
Perfect Dark-Only survives on the excellent Car Park level, but othert than that, its multi is as entertaining as seeing Mandy from Emerdale in a srtip club.
Mario Party-Simple, sit-and-play-for-hours fun. Hugely adictive and entertaining.
South Park: CLS-Many people hate this game, but it has some good late night laughs when havin' a party or summin, the tug of war can be a laugh seeing people try and get used to the controls.
F-Zero X-Who could leave this classic out. The gfx may be shoddy, but this games is better than others because it won popularity because of plain, simple, playability, not gfx or sound, and it is rip roaring fun that can last hours.
Premier Manager-An old game, but its a good game that you can just pop back to every now and then, but it keeps you hooked over time, and wining everything can be quite tricky, I havent met n e 1 who hasnt enjoyed this.
Wave Race-Judge the waves, showing off, and tight corners make this one of the most entertainging games around, and as old as it is, it still has simply beautifull graphics that beat many other newer titles. A classic that I am glad is being made into a GameCube game.
GoldenEye-Simular to PD, but the lack of texture and the fact everyone has played it to death spoils the once unbeatable fun. Still damn fine compared to other shooters, and its one player can beat most competition that comes its way.
F1 WGP1-Tight left, long right, short straight, opponent in views, round the outside, coming round, almost passed, and YES, you did it. A damn fin game that is so realistic it almost puts GP3 to shame, and the challenge it can provide against a decent player is great, possibly the best simulation of all N64 games.
And finally, a SNES game (it wasnt specific N64 was it?) Top Gear1, the best game on the SNES, and the multi kicked quicker than Jackie Chan on steroids. I wonder who 'Ritchie' was though?
And if this was N64 only, number 10, Turok2-Some say utter tripe multi, and to be hoest, in some respects, it is, but a great game to ease you into the main game, and with some great futeristic weapons, and the sheer amount of them makes this a classic, though no doubt will be beaten.
