I'd like to bet on 3 kidnappings and one major character death before the first 12 hours are up.

Why not start watching it at midnight tonite, so by the end of the series, you feel the tiredness of Jack. It will be an emotionally uplifting experience. Or something..

A great start to what will hopefully eclipse the first series.

First 2 episodes were great, hopefully the rest of the series continues in this vein.

1. Palmer is the best character.

2. Palmer's female aid is SO a leak.

The new series is running from 8am to 8am, so still 24hours. Im not sure it'll be as good like this though. The nighttime ending of the last series was great.

The first episode was shown without ad-breaks in the US, but with a commercial for Ford, who sponsored the first epsiode, and a taster of a new show starting the week after. This version was only shown the once as a show without ad-breaks is very rare and expensive. Luckily, we didnt get the short version that is now shown in the US, with bits different (mostly stuff cut out for time reasons).

And yes, that bit you quoted was very funny. But it would have been nice if you'd spelt it properly. Or quoted what they had said.
Yes well. Im a 24 freak. ]:^)

That's what I love about this programme. It's not obvious what will happen and then it all connects together.

I found the first episode quite strange.
It started at 8am
the episode is a bit longer but still not an hour's worth
I laughed a lot when he brang that guy in

Jack: 8 accounts of bribary, 2 accounts of child pornography and 1 account of attempted murder

Guy: and all i gotta do is testifie against him and i walk free

Jack pulls out a gun and shoots him in the chest

Mason: What the hell are you doing

Jack: how do you except to solve the case withput getting dirty

Classic!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
