Hi i was just wondering whether if i brought a ISDN adaptor, would i be able to keep my existing ISP at just £13.99 per month and have a free phone line whilst on the internet with no extra cost.

ISDN is extremely expensive, almost as expensive as ADSL.

And dude there are loads of people who can't get ADSL at all.

Dont forget you also need to convert your line to ISDN, its not a matter of buying an adpator. Why dont you just go and get ADSL if you are in a area that supplys it. Your paying £13.99 for 56k and I am paying £23.44 for 512k. With ISDN you will have to probably pay line rental on that as well as the £13.99. I know that a while ago ISDN was still expensive, may be alot cheaper now ADSL is more available. But seriously consider getting ADSL if you can get it in your area.

Almost all ISPs support 64k ISDN.

So yes, as long as you use single-channel.
