So, I registered for the welcome pack with my US PSP serial number, and got an email, although automated saying it'll be dispatched soon.

I just went into the registration page on www.yourpsp.com, put in all the details and used the 1003 model number instead of 1001 :D.

I will give it a go aswell. Only problem I can see is that if its the Spider-Man 2 UMD it will only work on the UK PSP and not the US one, I have Spider-Man 2 UMD anyway from the Special US pack so dont need another copy.

I was just intrigued by the notion of them calling it a welcome pack, just for the sake of a single UMD.
