Are you cautious of people, and take a long time to get to know them before you trust them?
I don't do it as much nowadays but I still find myself doing from time to time.

I use to be like this many many years ago. Always judging people on their appearance, then over time my opinion changed. 'Never judge a book by its cover' thats what i tell myself now. Though at times i will get it wrong. I like to give people a fair chance and take it from there.

I think that must be built in to our DNAs!
Most of the time I think the best of people until they prove otherwise. It has led to some bad decisions in the past, but I still like to think that most people are good.

An interesting question, deserves an interesting answer. So my answer is:-
'It Depends'
The reason I say this, is because I'm very aware of the fact that I often judge people based on their appearance. If I encounter someone who looks friendly and/or trutworthy, then I'm more likely to trust them right from the very start.
But if they look shifty, then they'll have to work quite hard to even get to know me.
Whilst I am aware that I do it, it often happens subconciously and it's only later when I think about that I realise I've done it...
I'm obviously not the only person who does this though, as I remember my English Lit A-level teacher talking at length about how the ancient Greeks believed you could judge a persons character enitrely by their facial characteristics, thet even believed it was an exact science.
well, booked my next driving test - hopefully the examiner will trust me enough to pass me. Hope I get the same one as last time.
Mmm I'm hungry now, when's lunch?
No problem anyway. Obviously I am a little too cautious :D
