"Multiplayer in a single player game"

Not many people are aware of this, but on the Super Nintendo title, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, with the aid of a button code, two players could battle it out in many of Yoshi's Island's minigames.

I've noticed that in the level select screen in the Game Boy Advance port, there is a symbol of a GBA and '1' where the SNES controller and '1' used to be on the original version.

How come the magazines haven't picked up on that and released the code yet?

(no this isn't a long topic - and it is just to see if anyone knows the answer - as I don't)

i loved it, but i dont think any games will come close to it again.

They are all to worryed about not doing 3d games now, and i dont think nintendo will be bothered to do another NEW adventure on the GBA.
