Learning HTML in 2 hours in easy. HTML is easy. It amazes me how many people don't know HTML, it's like saying "I can't count because learning seemed too hard". Even my girlfriend knows HTML.
As for SWF, the initials stand for "Shockwave Flash", and I take it he's referring to Macromedia Flash MX. Yes SWF is a file format, but you need to learn how to use the thing that makes them :D

You can learn the basics of HTML in about five minutes, just by listing an item on ebay and following the handy hints. Learning how to make a stylesheet look the same in Mozilla and IE - now that takes time.

Actually... took me about 15mins in total... For some of us, it's really simple... Bow to the master of CSS!
Now works in IE3+, NN4+, Opera, Moz & Safari(-ish still buggy pre release)
