Scare the hell out of me they do, not so much at a proper display on the right date. However when immature people are letting them off down the street really annoys me. No need for it, ids gladly go out there and say something to them but another one through the letterbox I really don’t like the idea of. You could understand if they were younger kids/ teens etc. However, they’re old gets roughly about the same age as Borat.
Anyone else getting random fireworks going off, or is it just round this doss hole?

Its been going on for a week or so now.

First day i heard them i thought nothing of it, usually the odd times a month they will go off on a certain estate when the drugs come in. But night after night and there just walking round the streets.

I know, i complain to much :)

A washing up bowl full of water under the letterbox as well should calm the nerves.

They must be ones from last year becasue as far as I'm aware they can only be sold for the 2 weeks running up to Bonfire Night.

Not had any round here yet but I'm expecting them to start anytime soon.

Perhaps when you have kids you'll start to enjoy it a lot more :)

I'm looking forward to it, having a bonfire and a little fireworks display. I think Smedlos likes having a BBQ aswell. That's a good idea.

Probably go to our towns bonfire and fireworks display and stand outside looking at the ones in the neighbourhood but that's it :(

I remember as kids my dad would buy some fireworks and let them off in the garden, me and my brothers and my grandparents would be watching in the greenhouse. Was wonderful :)

I used to love bonfire night when I was a kid, just doesn't have the same appeal to it anymore. Standing in the cold and wet around a fire, letting off those really cheap and nasty fireworks that just fizzle.

Though one year we did get our hands on a 56 shot air bomb display firework. Now that was something else.

Yeah someone let one off towards me this one time. By the time I woke up they were long gone :(

EDIT: Oh and this other time I was cotchin on the 266 when some freaks from my school let a screamer off. Luckily someone pushed me to the ground to stop me from being hurt and by stop me from being hurt I mean stop me from escaping. :/

Not really :)

It would be worth someone sticking a firework through my door just so I could catch em doing it ... but it's no joke when you have young children :S
