Well at 11am I finally reach work after plough clears the lane outside my cottage.
There are 4 people in today, so we're going home at 12:00
Have fun and war is silly.

We got out at 7pm yesterday (instead of half 9) because of the weather, so people wouldn't get home too late. I don't even drive, but I opted to leave, rather than stay another 2 and a half hours, especially since we were told we'd get our normal pay.

I only live 10 minutes away from work, bwahahahaha! Sorry...

Anyway, right now I should be at college, but there's NO way I was gonna get up early enough (7am) then travel all the way down there in this weather. So I'm taking the day off to relax... ah, relaxing.

Yesterday at 3:30 I was in Canterbury, leaving for my home near Ely, in Cambridgeshire.

By 6 I was coming off the M11 into Cambridge to drop off a colleague in Cambridge, Cherry Hinton.

It took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to his house 5 miles away.

So it was 7:30.

It took a further 4 hours to travel the 15 miles home.

I even had the car wheels spinning on ice quite dramatically at one point. In fifth gear, spinning at 90 mph, and not moving. Glad it was a hire car and not my own. ;o)

And our garden looks absolutely magical.

HAHAHA

I might take an extra 9hrs to drive to Sawbo and stand in the shop being all "I might go home now...or I might just walk about outside because I dont have to be at work"

Right now, I'm making us all tea and we're smoking and admiring the snow

Well it took me an hour and forty mins to drive 6 miles to work this morning. Some how the majority of SR are here so that means well probably end up working a full day, grrrr....

No school for me today either, which is great because I did have a French Speaking Mock to go to. Ba-BOOM!

Although, apparently my work experience interview is still on. {:S
