A Birmingham radio station has been fined £15,000 after four people were left with severe frostbite after a competition stunt went wrong.
BRMB challenged contestants to sit on blocks of dry ice - carbon dioxide frozen at temperatures of -78C - to win tickets and back stage passes for a music festival in the city.

Okay the station was in the worng here, but if it was you, would you sit on a block of Dry Ice!
Even if you didn't know what it was you wouldn't sit down it for so long that you were in masses of pain.
I have handled dry ice, after holding it for a couple of seconds in hands covered by latex gloves, it really starts to sting.#

I guess these people never heard of the word "common sense" before. The radio station shouldn't be giving them money in compensation; it should be slapping them around their head for being such dipsticks.
